Stacy Cohen, LPC  (she/her/hers)

Stacy Cohen received her Master’s degree in clinical mental health with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Stacy is also a licensed speech language pathologist and is experienced in working with people impacted by communication impairments.

 

Stacy works with individuals and couples seeking help with anxiety, depression, relationship and intimacy difficulties, life transition, grief/loss, and trauma. She believes everyone has the ability to makes changes in their life and she strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space in which people can heal and create positive change. Stacy uses an integrative trauma sensitive approach that is strength-based and systemic in nature. Treatment techniques include EMDR, solution-focused brief therapy, relational work, MBCT (mindfulness based cognitive therapy), the Gottman approach, and others. Stacy welcomes all people and all types of relationships and sexuality into her practice. She is sex-positive and kink and poly friendly.
