Sophia Svetnicka, MFT-IT

Sophia (she/her) received her Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Edgewood College. She believes in meeting each individual where they are at and fostering an environment of unique growth. Sophia works with a wide variety of relationship structures as well as individuals from all walks of life and all ages. She is particularly interested in working with couples and relationships, neurodivergent folks (e.g., OCD and autism), and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
As a systemic therapist, Sophia approaches each individual and relationship holistically, holding space for one's autonomy. She aims to utilize narrative therapy and DBT, while tapping into strengths-based approaches, attachment theory, and other approaches suited for each individual. She has completed Level 1 training from the Gottman Institute as well as the Level 1 course from the Institute for Relational Intimacy in Consensual Non-Monogamy.
