Julia Jones, LPC, NCC (she/her/hers)
Julia Jones has a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Julia is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy and has training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Child Centered Play Therapy. She draws from these and other counseling theories and evidence based models to support individuals as they build insight, knowledge, and skills.
Julia believes in the ability of individuals to recover and thrive in the wake of terrible circumstances, and that effective therapy is an excellent resource in this process. She works with many age groups, but especially enjoys working with children and teens and their families. Julia also has experience and specialization in safe trauma recovery. Julia works with individuals working through depression, anxiety, and family conflict and welcomes individuals who identify as LGBTQ+.
